Well today was Assisi and Perugia. Beautiful sights all around. The girls are getting hotter. I could do without churches and basillicas for a little while though. Tomorrow, Siena, San G. and Firenze. More from there.
Blog around the world with me as I travel between time zones.

Modern technology at work.
Yeah, after a while, all the churches blend together - They're like Starbucks here - One on every corner!
Good to hear that for your trip, the buildings are older and the girls are ... not.
Firenze should be good for you - Remember the Church of Santa Croce - There's some great tombs in the church and a great leatherworking school/shop behind it (I recommend the cigar cases and wallets)!
Also you MUST have your hotel make reservations at Buca Lapi!!!! Steak Florentine!! Also, try to get on one of the guided english tours of the Uffizi. Call early!!!
Hope you guys are having a great time!
Also make sure to see the Duomo, very cool: light a candle there! There is also a really cool church with golden doors. We ate really well there too, just don't remember the name, Feryal would know! Ahhh, make sure to spend at least 1hour in complete awe of the David (I personally like his bottom :) )
The Duomo and the Accademia (David) are also a given. (You need reservations for the Accademia too, but you can do without the tour - maybe the recorded version is ok). The golden doors of the East Side of the Baptistry (replicas actually). All good choices.
Another interesting choice is the Pharmacy of Santa Maria Novella - They sell perfumes, colognes, lotions, etc. Hundred of years. (Also, that courtyard is where Jen and I stayed, at JK Place).
I assumed you'd go to the Ferragamo Museum. The store is on the main floor...
